The DON'T WAIT Project®, founded by Lisa Bradshaw in 2011, is a 501c3 non-profit organization, partnering with filmmaker, educator and UnMake a Bully creator Mike Feurstein. Since 2012, our DON’T WAIT to UnMake program has produced 100s of PSAs with more than 10,000 students, grades 4-12, and has also produced educational content for TEDx.
In these times of remote learning, we have created a virtual version of our DON'T WAIT to UnMake program. This version still provides students with the opportunity to write, produce, direct and film their own PSA, teaching them scriptwriting, filmmaking and editing from home. It combines our mediasphere program, already implemented in several school districts throughout the country, with breakaway sessions and even a filmmaking scavenger hunt to get them up and moving, exercising their brains and their bodies while continuing our ongoing commitment to lessons in character development, anti-bullying education and media responsibility.
Our program supports educators and students in a stimulating and rewarding atmosphere, utilizing remote learning platforms such as Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams.
We are excited to offer remote learning opportunities for students learning from home in grades 4-12 with groups of 10-20 in participation, geared toward each specific age groups.
Our in-class program is generally booked one year in advance in schools throughout the country. We will prioritize our remote learning option to the schools that have already booked our on-site program.

Welcome to The DON'T WAIT Project partner program DON'T WAIT to UnMake... a Bully and the Mediasphere. Over the past eight years, Mike Feurstein has worked with more than 10,000 students throughout the country, producing hundreds of anti-bullying, character-developing and media literacy/responsibility PSAs based on the experiences of the students who participate. Students learn and implement every aspect of the filmmaking process, including directing, acting, lighting, sound, makeup and more.
In its ninth year, the DON'T WAIT to UnMake program is impacting students, teachers, administrators and communities throughout the country, from New York to Washington state.
