So often we get busy dealing with everyday concerns, we forget to celebrate the little things in life, let alone the monumental occasions that deserve significant celebration. That's why The DON'T WAIT Project launched the DON'T WAIT to Celebrate Survivorship Exhibit.
Founder Lisa Bradshaw produced the exhibit when celebrating her own 20-year cancer survivorship in 2016. The exhibit focuses on cancer survivors of all ages and their lives AFTER CANCER. Whether someone has fought and won the battle against cancer, is currently in the midst of the struggle or will face it in the future, this exhibit offers hope and insight to us all.
The exhibit was on display at Confluence Hospital, Wenatchee Valley Clinics & Hospitals and Pybus Public Market throughout the spring of 2016.
If you'd like to be part of our cancer survivorship gallery, please submit your photo, along with your diagnosis and length of survivorship. Be sure to write the length of time on a chalkboard (like our exhibit participants) or on piece of paper for your photo. We'd love to include you in our community of survivors. The DON'T WAIT Project wants to include you in our celebration!
